  1. Resolution: A technician visited on Saturday, 9/2 while I was at the dentist, but another one came yesterday, 9/4 and discovered that there was damage on the utility pole at the end of the block, so I was the only household affected. Maybe a vehicle bumped the pole, not sure. Service was quickly restored.
  2. Both phone and INFINITUM out of service near Soriana since last Thursday. Can’t get an estimated repair time even though I went to office in Ajijic. Today, chat bot can’t find the folio.
  3. I did have a Zest rash as a baby, but I've been using the same soaps and shampoos for weeks or months, and yet had that rash only on two or three consecutive occasions. I have now had no reaction for several days, so I just hope it doesn't come back
  4. It's just me, I think; at least no one else has mentioned it. They are all native-born to Chapala. My most recent shower was rash-free, so I'll just continue observations for now.
  5. Though I've lived in Chapala and Ajijic for 12 years, it wasn't until about three days ago that I got a rash from taking a shower. After about 10-15 minutes exposure to the (unfiltered) shower water, I notice an itching in the pit of my elbows and knees, and around the ankles. There are red spots in these areas. Both the itching and the spots disappear quickly after drying off. I'm wondering what is in the water that is causing this: a chemical compound, parasite...? I'm living in Chapala in the vicinity of Electristas, between Soriana and Nuevo Chapala. What's your experience?
