Help! My Go Video DVD+VCR Combo doesn't work here

I brought a Go Video DVD + VCR combo player with me from the States. It worked fine there, but I can't get it to work here in Mexico. Someone said the video setting needs to be changed, but I can't figure it out. It is in an armoire with my TV Dish thingee. Can anyone recommend a technical person who would come out and fix it or set it correctly? Any help will be much appreciated!
