Fordtruckman - I found it interesting that someone finally brought up the 'pin in the door' solution to protecting entrance through sliding glass doors. I lived in the Bahamas for a number of years and that is what everyone did. We did not have bars, security lights, etc. People, try it - it works!

I understand there is a "Club" (Roca Azul Country Club?) there. Does anyone know anything about it? I know there is a thermal pool - what other amenities are there? Does member ship come automatically if you are a home owner or renter? What are the approximate rates per year? Any information would be appreciated. Many thanks.

I agree with Intercasa. Several years ago and friend and I went to Asia. We made several stops along the way. My friend was searched at every stop (sometimes twice). We asked a customs officer what was going on and he said that the airlines randomly chose passengers and their tickets were coded. This continued on both legs of our trip.
