If you've been curious about Operation Feed's "Moringa Madres" Project, here is an opportunity to learn all about the moringa process first hand! They're asking for volunteers to help the madras removed the dried leaves from the moringa branches. See poster below for details. If you have any questions please call Weezie at (376) 766-2830. Thanks for your support!

They don't eat the leaves.

No and they are wasteful. Over half the leaf is on the ground below the tree. But they do harvest them for their mysterious goings on down below. Found a nest and powered it last night

Viva Mexico is in San Juan Cosala. Get off at Vicente Guerrero (liquor store on one corner, red walled house on the other). Walk one block toward the lake. Turn left. Viva Mexico is on the corner .

What do you do with Moringa leaves? Make tea?

Moringa is considered a miracle tree for nutrition. With over 90 nutrients, 46 antioxidants a wealth of vitamins plus all the amino acids to make it a complete protein, it is considered a super food. Look it up on you tube to see unbiased scientific studies of its benefits. You can add the leaves to your food or grind them to a powder.
