pol2sol
Does anybody know if swimming lessons are offered lakeside or does one need to go to Guad? Thanks in advance.
Osoprehistorico
I believe I heard that the swimming pool in Riberas (2 doors East of S&S Auto) had lessons. But I saw that some time back. Still worth a stop to see.
Tony_In_Mexico
The pool at Christiana Park offers swimming lessons to children. I'm not sure of all the times, but I know I've seen them there around 4pm.
pol2sol
Thanks for helping out. I am looking for adult swimming instruction. Learning to swim and breaking my fear of water is on my bucket list and I am determined about this one.

Nettie
Looking for a place to swim after back surgery. Montecarlo thermal pool a little too small. Con sala is nice, but pricey twice a week. Are there any public pools in the Chapala and Ajijic areas for adults? Are there any other hotels that allow swimmers for a fee?
JayBearII
You might try the water exercise group that meets M-W-F from 3 to 4 at The Purple Door Spa in San Juan Cosala. It is stretching and strength building easy exercise, and you can get in a few laps before or at the end of class, if that suits you. Fee is 30p per session. If this does not suit you, you might talk to the owners Peggy and Larry about a special rate for you at another time. There day rate is a bit expensive and geared toward Mexican families.
