kindred Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 I second Dr. Varela. Did an emergency surgery for a subdermal hematoma on a friend visiting from Canada. If he had not acted fast and well with this patient, who knows what his condition could have been. He is a 72 year old man and is living a very full life in Canada and taking solo 3-week motorcycle trips in the wilderness. Via La Dr. Varela -- who even gave him a ride home from the Guadalajara hospital.

He sees patients in his home. I ended up going to the US for neck surgery but did consult with him here before that.

That's four surgery's between the two of us. Compassionate, caring, professional. Speaks some English. PM mee for contact info. And good luck.

I always keep my thoughts about Doctors out of things because one Doctor can be a lifesaver and another car be the worst. BUT with this one run. I know stuff that will make you cringe about this Doctor....My profession is important to me so I do not say which Doctors that is good or bad. I am in the healthcare business. Run from this guy.....If you want to sit down and talk personally I will do it. I also would love to have his wife there. There is a story I will only tell to people I know well with a Lawyer present. Good Luck! I am referring to Varella
