simpsca Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 I'm posting this for someone else who needs help finding their Pomeranian male aged 7 months. He snuck out when the garage door was opened during rain that was upsetting him Friday night, June 7. Area is upper Riberas. There is a reward and owners have plastered the area with photos and posters with a generous reward. I'll put one below. If you see this pup the owners can be reached at: email: ekksf@msn.com cell phone: 331-691-7567 And here is the handsome devil who escaped in a rain storm. Owners are desperate.
ChrisB Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 We have not seen him at Lucky Dog but will put him on the lost dog list. Sadly small purebreds like him are valuable to the unscrupulous.
simpsca Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Yes I know - I took one look at the photo and was so sad. They are offering a 1,500 peso reward so maybe someone who sees him will report it. The people also reported it to the Chapala police.
Ginger Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 I told my friends who live in upper Riberas & the posters were seen. Hope she will get home soon.
simpsca Posted June 19, 2013 Author Report Posted June 19, 2013 Someone has been taking their posters down. They think someone local has him so keep your eyes out for this cute little boy.
simpsca Posted June 20, 2013 Author Report Posted June 20, 2013 Just trying to keep this visible in case anyone sees him.
simpsca Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 No I have no new info yet, will post if I hear anything.
simpsca Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 The owners just posted this: Hey everyone! Guess who is back home? GRIZZLY! Well, that only took 3 weeks and he is looking/feeling bedraggled. But, he is okay. All of your suggestions helped very much - helped me to focus on the best things to try and how to go about it. After the dognapper called for more than a week trying to figure out how to get the best price for our family member (in his mind trying to decide if he could sell it for more than the reward left him really in a quandary and holding out/holding him hostage). We were able to find out the caller's address through the phone number he was calling from so we all but plastered a new reward poster on his front door with 1,500 pesos on it.
MyHomeSweetHome Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Glad he's home but if they knew where he was why didn't they get a police officer to go with them and bring him home? The world will never know...WELCOME HOME GRIZZLY!
