Monessen Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 We had a wonderful, large, fired clay plaque done for us by Carlos Real--an artist in Ajijic. He painted it, too. It's one of a kind and his work is great though he is a bit slow by NOB standards. It took him 7 months but he did an excellent job for 4000 pesos and the plaque is absolutely unique at Lakeside. It isn't one of those beautiful mosaic plaques--just local clay that was carved out by hand and fired, colored and fired again. His email is CarlosRealRamos@Hotmail.com. He even installed it on our wall and replastered the surrounding area.
Shelley Ronnfeldt Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 I'm needing more of a dedication plaque. Like the kind one puts on the wall of a theater, or stadium, or something commemorating donors.
