the walkers Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 just now read an article about the victimization of tomato workers in our own state: www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/12/mexico-workers-slavery-toliman_n_3427120.html
carib Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 An not only in Mexico. I was part of a charity group with the farm workers in Delray, Fl. We visited the farms a few times a year to bring food, cloth, school supplies for children, toys, supplies for new mothers , car seats, baby cloth, baby food, and others. What I saw broke my heart. It is slavery in the good old USA.
