AutumnDreams Posted May 18, 2013 Report Posted May 18, 2013 Does the Consulate still go to the American Legion in Chapala on the first Wednesday of the month?
beetlejuice Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 Yes, and the Lake iChapala Society as well. The exception is if the day is a holiday , as was the case this month (may 1st) .This month it was on the 8th .
gogirl Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 Do you have to be a member? I read a while back about some problems with this service. Anyone have any info? TIA
RVGRINGO Posted May 19, 2013 Report Posted May 19, 2013 There is no need to be a member at either location. Just sign up ahead of time, then get there on time on the appointed day: 9:00 AM American Legion, Morelos & Guerrero, Chapala 11:30 AM Lake Chapala Society, Ajijic

If you are picking up your passport, you do not need to sign up as those picking up new passports are quickly taken care of first.
