Fred Habacht Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 We have a "boiler" or hot water heater that needs a plumber with knowledge of that device. We appreciate your advice.
purplebeads Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 crystal Water owned by Manuel Salazar. 766-0764 331-299-7835 Pleased with his putting in our hot water tank.
Fred Habacht Posted May 17, 2013 Author Report Posted May 17, 2013 Thanks for your contact BUT Manuel says that he does not repair hot water heaters......any more suggestions....Please!
howardF Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 Try Paul Torres, 331-335-0140. He's a good plumber and electrician that has been helping me out of jams for 9 years. He speaks excellent English and will come when he says he will.
helenj Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 Miguel Jimenez & son Jorge repaired ours. Cell 333-197-4001. Great plumbers & electricians. Prompt & pretty good English.
John Shrall Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 I have also used Miguel and Jorge for years. Jorge is the son who does most of the work and dad takes the calls, reads the newspaper and writes out the bills which are always very reasonable. They repaired a thermostat on my water heater recently as well as took out an old one that blew up.
Fred Habacht Posted May 17, 2013 Author Report Posted May 17, 2013 I have reached senor Jimenez and he will be here on Monday...to try to repair the problem.
John Shrall Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 If you want to practice Spanish, talk to Jorge (the son). He speaks very slowly and enunciates his words better than any other Mexican I've met. He understands some English but I think he like many people here is afraid to speak in the foreign tongue.
Fred Habacht Posted May 18, 2013 Author Report Posted May 18, 2013 Thank you...the father had trouble understading our address...so we will practice with the son. Fred Habacht
Fred Habacht Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 UPDATE!!! Father and one of his son's came today. A delightful guy with fairly good english and he understood the problem and the solution, hopefully. His repair was completed within 15 minutes and then he stayed to make that the leak had stopped. Total cost was very fair, I think. We thank you for the help and the reference from everyone. Fred Habacht
puro guero Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Miguel and Jorge Jimenez (Father & Son) in San Juan Cosala do plumbing, water systems, pumps, electrical, gas, filters, motors, pools, solar, pretty much everything, and are honest and reliable. They pulled our potable water pump, took it to Joco for new bearings and seals, brought it back and re-installed it, all in under 3 hours. I would be ashamed to tell you how inexpensive it was. Phone 387-761-0596; or 333-197-4001
