John Shrall Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 Everyone on the Lakeside tennis list received an email from Carlos about a Torneo de Escalafón he's putting together beginning in March and lasting through year end. With a partner you will be assigned a level on the ladder and be required to play other teams in your level every week. Each month winners will move up the ladder, losers will move down. Partners may be male, female or mixed. You'll be playing teams at or around the same level. FolliatI Casino is a sponsor and will be hosting the opening cocktail party (of course) on Friday March 15. A ladder like this was set up in Guadajara a couple of years ago with 30 people. Today that ladder has over 400 people. It's a great opportunity to play a competitive match and improve your tennis.
