I know that it is the strict policy of this forum not to allow ads for real-estate to be posted, but are you allowed to post a message here if you are looking for a place to rent and how you would be willing to pay? This way someone could tell you via email whom to contact, or if they indeed have a place to rent or sell, which they would not post here but would write you. I would like to know about this, since I am new to the forum and am thinking of moving down to the Ribera from Guadalajara. Thanks.

Not sure why you put this here but yes, you most certainly can start a thread asking for rental leads. Specify that reponders are to PM you. Try and be as specific as possible as to type of property, location and amount you want to spend.

For best results, post it in the Ajijic, Chapala. . . thread.

Yeah, I don't know why I posted it here in this thread. I must have clicked on it by mistake. I thought I was in the regular Ajijic-Chapala thread, so I will put it there.
