I need to have an X-ray of the thorax and have the results before Tuesday morning to take to Guadalajara. Can someone recommend a place at Lakeside besides Care that does a decent x-ray and interpretation? We have had x-rays at Care but he never gives a written interpretation.

There is an ultrasound and X-ray office in Chapala. The Dr. Pedro Valadez speaks English and will give you the written report right then. The number is 765-3431, Zaragoza 361. Also on his report is listed Ocampo 108-C, phone 766-3134. I have not been to this facility, only the one in Chapala. My chest X-ray was 250.pesos

How late are they open on Sat.? i tried to call them after 1 p.m. and no answer with 3 attempts.

I'm sorry, don't know how late they are open on Saturday. We were there about 11:00 a.m. and they were doing a swift business. They may close at 1:00 p.m. or so on Saturday. I think they close during the week days in the middle of the afternoon ... I think 2:00 p.m. and re-open after comida .... again, I think at 4:00 p.m. but am not certain. I just know that we are very pleased with the service and the quality of the x-ray we received today.
