Does anyone know of a place that sells reasonably priced window blinds/coverings?

Walmart usually carries them and I have seen them at Soriana's in Chapala. Also, the lighting store by Sunrise Restaurant used to have them.

The lighting store by Sunrise is called Ilumina yDecora. Ask for Luis. He will come to your house with sample books and take measurements. We had blinds and verticals made and installed by him, they were reasonably priced and are working well.

Louis at Illumina Decora by Sunshine cafe has a good selection. He's done all my wood (real) blinds. Responsive and responsible.

Well, while I was just not paying attention, Holdrja has also given the same recommendation with más informe.

I second the good recommendations for Luis at Ilumina y Decora. He speaks English quite well, was thorough when he came out to my house to measure, and I ended up with a very good product (nice semi-see-thru shades). I had looked in Guadalajara at Home Depot, but the quality just wasn't there, and the sizes weren't really right, although there was quite a selection to take a look at.

OK I can vouch for him as well .... great product and service ... wouldn't go to anyone else after the experience I've had with him ... Luis at Ilumina y Decora is the way to go ...

Home Depot the one off L. Mateos next to the old Comercial Mexicana or the one in Chapalita, they are higher priced than Wal Mart but more selection, most of the Home Depots are in Zapopan not Guadalajara centro.
Also there is a new home store in the Plazas Galerias try there(I have not been to the Home store so I do not know if they have blinds but maybe you can call them but it is supposed to have a lot of different things for the home) and also their Wal Mart has a better selection of window treatments too.
