The pool/water filter store in the little shopping center at La Huerta is the place we have purchased them before, but all they had last time was large tablets (like 4") so we got those and broke the up into pieces, but that didn't work as well. Now they have small tablets (about 1") like we want, but they are in huge buckets which we have no where to store, and anyway they are expensive in the huge bucket.

So...has anyone seen them for sure at a particular pool/water filter store? I'd like to save myself some legwork and time.

I have purchased them in the pool supply place where HandyMail is, in San Antonio. It is the second store west of Mailboxes Etc, just to the right of the hardware store.

I've bought them a number of times at Techno Aqua in La Huerta mall. They have them in bags of 6 behind the counter. A little pricey so I bought a 1 kilogram bucket from them. It isn't very large. If neither of those work I could sell you a few.

I bought a 1 kilo bag of 1" tablets at Amutio hardware next to Farmacia Guadalajara for about 75 pesos the other day.

We use them too, and they are not hard to find. We usually buy them at the store in La Huerta, but I guess they're currently out. Any pool supply/water-related place will likely have them. Some hardware stores. I even saw a fourpack for sale the other day somewhere very unlikely....might have been El Torito, or possibly Farmacia Guadalajara, right at the register. Not sure where I saw them, but remember being surprised by it, and those two places are most likely where.

Wonder if there is anyway that we can tag or mark questions of such monumental proportions and of concern to so many of us, such as this one.

I buy them at Pool Supply on the north side of the Highway in Ajijic
in the strip mall. Big sign says "pool supply" or something like that.
