There's a real photographer 2 doors west of the Early Bird Cafe on Ocampo. He did mine in April with no problems

We used Farm. Guadalajara photos for our renewals last October with no problems. Just make sure they are in a plain cover.

Luz at the cow in Chapala charged me $100 for pics last Friday. It was $80 the year before. I think I will switch to Farmacia Guadalajara.

For several years I used them with no problems, then last year, I was warned by a facilitator that sometimes their photos are turned down. With what frequency are they turned down? I don't know. I sure hope more people post here, that they have had good luck with them, because they are definitely the best price.

I just used them last week, and no problems...and they're much better pictures than the ones I paid a lot of pesos for.

Used Farmacia Guadalajara photos this year for Inmigrante renewal. Only problem I had with them was the way I looked in the photo. Blurgh.

The truth is that it doesn't matter what the source of the photos are, as long as they are made using photo paper. Plain-paper photos will bleed and smear when they are laminated.

its not the company taking the photos, its the photograper

the goverment photo that are front and side,, straight 180 degress and right angle 90 degrees

not 80 degrees,

sometimes that photographer gets in a hurry, and puts your profile at a the wrong angle.

so please make sure your photos are coorectly front and side

two years ago they had a new girl taking pictures a farmacia Guadalajara and she took my picture at a slight angle and they were rejected.

you should see the nose straight on, not be able to side one side of the nose, more the the other.

take time and inspect your pictures that they front and side. not at slight angle.

The problem with Farm. Guad. photos only had to do with the little blue envelope the give you with the photos. Several years back, INM didn't like to see that, and I would venture to guess that it was simply them being picky, as bureaucrats in Mexico (and elsewhere) are often wont to do. Folks who brought in Farm. Guad. photos during the same period, without the covers, had no problems. There is no way to tell where the photographs have been taken, unless the studio stamps them on the back. And that is not required.

Last week we had our photos done at the Ajijic Farmacia Guadalajara and they were put in a small clear plastic envelope with no F.G. markings. No problem.
