Went to have breakfast at Delicias this morning on the patio with our 2 small dogs. We do this once a week and then on to Christiana Park and have always enjoyed the routine. Will need to find another place for breakfast on "Park Day" as they no longer allow dogs on the patio in the back.

I am not posting this to start a thread about dogs in restaurants. It has been discussed many times on this board. It is just an FYI to those who are interested.

There's a 'pinned' thread at the top of "La Cocina" called 'Dog Friendly Restaurants'.....maybe the mods can move your thread there, so the info stays in one spot.

On your way to Ajijic from Chapala on the north side of the carretera. Maybe a kilometer or so west of the Chapala traffic light. A few doors east of what used to be ACE hardware and is now Ferreteria Calzada. Great restaurant.

Delicias is, indeed, a great place for breakfast; their specialty. They are open oly until 1PM, just a few doors west of the INM offices on Hidalgo.

I concur. For my wife and I it is our favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch.

The BEST place for breaky Lakeside. Great patio. Good people. Try the mango smoothie. YUM. Good hashbrowns. Not the cheapest.

The outside wall is painted medium brown, and it is, as noted above, a few doors east of Ferreteria Calzada - which has that big brown oblong hot air thingey flapping outside it. So think brown when looking for Delicias :-) Also - great wireless internet freely available there. Very hospitable folks, love their health shakes etc

A place where most of the facilitators hang out ...until the immigration office opens..and you are surprised that there are 2 list/lines for INM applications .....
