This was the scene of the truck crash and the attempt to transfer fuel from one truck to another. Shopping Walmart is getting dangerous :)...
Just last Tuesday there was another truck crash a few meters away.

WOW what a traffic jam yesterday, as posted earlier. The bad thing about funneling all traffic thru the intersection of the carretera and the libramiento is that when there is an accident, traffic must be rerouted thru narrow streets and/or via Chapala. I guess the good news is that if there were a narco incident at this intersection, they'd never get away (just kidding).

Off the original topic a bit, but does anyone happen to know what that huge long white metal structure is, that is lying on the ground in front of Walmart?

It's the post for the big Walmart sign that they say they're still going to put up in spite of protestations. You can see its big base with the mega-screws already in place right next to it.

They need identity, I mean they don't want to go unnoticed and blend in with the many buildings that size already here at lakeside (that already say Walmart on the side)? - oh, right, they're the only one, well anyway, they already bought the sign, so guess they figure they might as well use it. The funny thing is that apparently the original block of concrete to anchor it was poured too close to the street by maybe a foot or two. A few weeks ago they brought in a huge crane spent a couple hours picking it up, moving it closer to the lot and then burying it again.

I believe the activity was in Mexico & not NOB. It is the corrupt gov't here that make the laws/or not & enforce/or not.
Why blame Walmart when others or putting signs up on the side of the road or buildings, etc.
Hey look at the lousy sigh on the shopping center adjacent
