Has anyone been over the bypass in the past few days? Talking about the end that has not been paved. Going to Costco tomorrow, was wondering what the rain has done and if it is easily passable. Do not want to go thru Joco...did that the other day and with the construction it is a mess.

Don't know about the bypass--- but getting through Joco is certainly no joyride!!! At least it was not this morning. Did not help that somehow the barrels and the tape that closed off the part of the road under construction had been removed by the time I came through, travelling towards hwy 15. Which forced about 10 cars to back up, then turn towards the muddy detour.

I went through Jocotepec 2 times yesterday on a trip to Tapalpa. Going west the bypass was in about the same way it's been for about a year. On the return going there was a barrier in the middle of the road and you could not cross over to use the bypass. So we have to go through Jocotepec which was fun because it included a detour.

We went thru the bypass today and it is open, however, the unpaved section was muddy and standing water...cars going both directions.
