I quit smoking for 23 years on Nicorette Gum. I went through an intensive stressful time when I moved down here 1 ½ years ago and started smoking again. I MUST QUIT and hate what smoking is doing to me.

I can only find MINT Nicorette (something I do not like as much as the original) at one pharmacy in Chapala. If you know any local pharmacies that have it stocked let me know.

If you have any Nicorette gum you are not using, I will buy it from you. If you know a local pharmacy that sells it (original, but mint will do) let me know.

IF YOU ARE VISITING THE STATES and can bring me down some of the original non mint flavored Nicorette gun, I will pay for it and your time and effort,

Please do not suggest other methods because the gum worked before and will work again.

I'm in .Canada for a few more days. Can Nicorette be purchased over the counter, without a prescription? If so, I could buy some for you. How much do you want and what is the approximate cost?

Mexico passed a law that no nicotine products can be brought into Mexico so that means all nicotine stop smoking aids are banned. Doesn't make sense to me that Mexico wants more lung cancer than it wants people to stop smoking but I guess it does.

If someone gets caught bringing in the gum it will be confiscated so you will be out the money.

There is only one alternative and that is Chamtix. You don't want an alternative but that is the only aid left in Mexico.

It might have gone into effect the first of the year. After the first, nicotine patches started disappearing from the shelves, then the gum, inhalants and any product with nicotine. If you ask the pharmacy at Wal-Mart for gum or patches they don't have any stop smoking aids anymore except Chamtix and they can't order any. There isn't anything at Guadalajara Farmacia either. Maybe a small pharmacy might have something left over but they can't order any new products.

If you came through customs and customs didn't take the nicotine products, you were lucky because by law none are supposed to enter the country.

Where are you buying nicotine stop smoking aids locally, I'd like to buy some.
