The American Citizen Sevices section of the US Consulate in Guadalajara is trying to contact Jerry George, whose last known address was at West Zaragosa 38, Ajijic. Johnnie Lee Milligan from Ajijic died on Tuesday and they are having trouble locating a next of kin. Jerry was one of the contacts listed on his LCS post life planning sheet from 2002. If you have any information regarding Johnnie Lee Milligan's family or how to contact Jerry George, please call me at 765-2978 and I will relay it to the Consulate.

Update: Have found and talked to Jerry George but still need any information available about Johnnie. About all we know at this point is that Johnnie was from Oklahoma.

Suggest you speak with Beverly Hunt, owner of Laguna Real Estate. John used to rent from her several years ago and she would probably know about any family. If no luck there, John was an avid bridge player so a check with some of those folks might be fruitful. Jerry may have given you this same info also as he and John and Beverly were friends. RIP John, you were good people!!

Yes, Jerry told me about Laguna but I have not been able to reach Beverly yet. Jerry did not mention the bridge connection so I will check with a few bridge players I know. Thanks so much for the tip!!

Beverly used to be in her office early every day but Saturday but I can't say for sure these days. Many days like Sundays she used to play bridge so unless she has altered her schedule you should be able to find her one place or the other. My recollection from conversations with Jerry was that John had no close relatives but perhaps that is my bad brain working. Another possibility is a young man who used to live in Joco that I only knew by "Cruz" that was a sometime companion of John's and he sometimes stayed at John's place to help with everyday tasks that John was having more trouble doing. If anyone knows Cruz he would probably have some info. Cruz was a very good bartender also and we used him several times when we had larger parties.
