A friendly male hound joined me and my dog in our walk around 10 am. He was unafraid and healthy looking. I hope he knows his way home, if he has one. If anyone is looking for him, we met up with him around Rio Yaqui and Hacienda in Villa Nova.

He followed us home, but I couldn't bring him into the house as I have two cats and couldn't be sure how he'd behave.

Was it a "he" or a she? Did the doggie have a bandana on , brown spots? The neighbors here in Rancho del Oro are away and their dog is an escape artist. She is home now howling for them but I know she sneaks out of the gate somehow.

As I noted, he's a male. He's a spotted hound. He had no id, no collar, no bandana.

Just post a picture. As we all know a picture is worth a 1000 words,

Unfortunately she didn't take him in so a picture is not possible. Shame really.

Right. I didn't take him in. Not only because there are two cats in the house, but my little dog, who had thought he was oK until then, got annoyed when the hound tried to shove his way in. My little dog yipped at him. The hound barked and almost blew us all away. He was a pretty easy-going guy and friendly and not showing the nervousness of a lost or a no-home dog. I posted just to alert anyone looking for him to give a spot where last seen, at that time. I hope he's found his way home by now.
