Common on many phones such as Samsung Ace. This is handy if your computer has Bluetooth to transfer photos taken with the phone.

I do, why? Uncommon around here except on pricey phones. Also, only some utilize voice commands, which means you have to dial manually . Further, you also need a Bluetooth receiver on your PC to do transfers that way.

Continuing on with what Mike said. They tell me that even good hearing aids are Bluetooth capable these days. I know I have portable speakers, my iPhone, laptop, headphones, etc all of which are Bluetooth capable. It seems like almost everything electronic I buy these days can be Bluetooth capable for a few more bucks.

Look up "Bluetooth" cell phones on Amazon for the number available and reviews. They start at $55! We order items from Amazon almost weekly and never lost a thing.

This will help in picking a good model. If it is an Apple or Android base phone you can get the application called "whatsapp" and text for free. Then look locally for that model or order from Amazon an unlocked phone or know someone who can unlock it.

Also, a cell with a camera sure helps when some rogue cop stops you looking for mordida. Taking their picture from what i experienced intimidates them and you soon hear the word "passe, passe".

Several computers have Bluetooth and almost all or all tablets on which many lack a regular USB port.

Bluetooth is also handy to transmit music between a computer and your cell and to play music from your cell on other Bluetooth devices. Plus some cars have a Bluetooth system to which your cell can connect.

As I said, "around here" Bluetooth is not common on inexpensive cell phones. Since Hugh has postponed his delivery service (indefinitely, as far as I can tell), ordering things from the U.S. is not as cut and dried for me: I have had too many things go missing between there and here.

And not that many new laptops, and certainly no towers, come with Bluetooth, although it can added fairly cheaply. On the other hand, almost all cell phones come with a USB cable to connect to your computer, which makes transferring photos and Contacts pretty easy.
