During the pig flue (2009), authorities downplayed the whole thing also. In a very recent WHO report (from UN), they are talking aboutNot sure what the repercussions of this are/will be locally, but would appreciate any follow-up information. The article states that a "national animal health emergency" was announced Monday. Authorities say there is no risk to human from consuming chicken.

What about Puritan Poultry? Where do we buy good chicken and eggs that are not infected? ThanksAnother good reason not to buy from Bachoco and other factory producers

Hmmm, it's time to by a chicken...only for the eggs though. Knowing me I'll give it a name and a good forever home. Geez!!Eggs are up to 25 pesos a kilo.

How very true!! I seen documentaries that are truly horrific.Another good reason not to buy from Bachoco and other factory producers
