Just beware that they will steal things out of your car if you use them. They do a really good job in cleaning, but will steal anything not nailed down! Afterwards, other people have told me that they stole things out of their car too when they used them. I demanded the owner contact me and pay me for the items taken. I'm sure he won't bother to contact me. I did tell them that I was going to post on this board to warn everyone that their business has thieves working there.

I stopped using that one because they broke something almost every time I used them.

I'm sorry this happened to you.. After the same thing happened to me in the States a few years ago, I just automatically remove everything from the car prior to taking it to be washed. On the up side, it forces me to sort through all the stuff that seems to land in my car.

I had an item missing when I used the car wash by the Waffle House in West Ajijic, so switched to the one mentioned above. Don't tell me that I'm going to have to wash my own car!...........

It's good exercise especially if you wax it.

Agree, one should always remove the stealable stuff before taking a car to the car wash. I learned that one the hard way in Albuquerque. Easy to do, much easier than washing or waxing your own car! :)

Clean out the car, go to Moyoyo across from Cafe Magana, then go across the street, have a nice lunch with Jeffrey and enjoy the day.

I've been using this car wash for 4 years and have never lost a single item out of the car including, on one occasion, my wallet.

And I had a problem with the car wash across from Cafe Magana. My car tools with the jack was opened and I don't know if anything important is missing. I guess we really do need to remove EVERYTHING from our cars when getting them washed. Mine if really dirty inside because I haven't had time to empty it:-(

WOW because I have been using them for years and only 2 weeks ago I left my purse in my truck hidden under the seat with ALL my plastics and $3000 pesos. I remembered that I had left my purse in the truck while I was eating my fish tacos nearby. I ran over in a panic and my purse was no longer under the seat because they had cleaned there , the purse was just sitting on the top waiting for me with ALL the contents.

TRUE EXPERIENCE.

Glad I use the nice man at Super Lake for mine although he doesn't clean the inside but at least he guides me out of the parking place if I can't see around the SUV or truck parked next to me.
