This week I have seen this bus on two different occasions - clearly marked on the side - Chapala and underneath it - Aeropuerto. The first time was Wednesday near central Guad - so I am assuming it goes to the downtown station - and the second time was Friday coming from Guad (between Guad and the airport)
Does anyone know anything about the bus?

Hi Mad_Max,
I think that that bus only goes between la central vieja de Guadalajara hasta el aeropuerto.
What I do know as a fact is that (with not too much luggage) the 2nd class bus frrom Chapala to Guad, stops not far from the airport (10 to 15 minutes walking from that bus stop) and it only costed me 26 pesos ! The first one leaves at 4.30 am (Monday to Saturday), from the Chapala bus station.

I haven't seen the bus on the Chapala side of the airport - just the Guadalajara side - so could be it goes between the downtown station and the airport. I remember rumblings - maybe a year ago - I thought a bus was going from the new station to the airport. But why on earth would they paint Chapala aeropuerto on the side of the bus - (I know, I shouldn't ask)

Typically buses are marked with the destination direction (which would be toward Chapala from the Central Vieja) and then "aeropuerto" because it stops at the airport would make the best sense to me. Maybe it turns around and goes back or could it continue on to Chapala as one of the every 30 minute runs?I haven't seen the bus on the Chapala side of the airport - just the Guadalajara side - so could be it goes between the downtown station and the airport. I too have seen the bus (while coming back from the airport in a taxi) so I stopped at the Chapala bus station to ask about it and was told it only operates between Guadalajara and the airport.
