My tea maker is getting clogged up, kinda like a coffee maker.

I've seen the CLR commercials where they run it thru a coffee maker. Anyone actually done that and lived to report the results?

I think I've seen CLR somewhere in town. Superlake? Wally World?

We've used it for that. Works great. Run another batch of water through afterwards.

You can get it at Superlake or at Costco in Guad.

Vinegar is the least toxic alternative.

I used a product like CLR and killed my former coffee machine. I now use white vinegar which you can buy by the gallon in some Mexican grocery stores for $2 US. It works great on cleaning the coffee machine. I mix 2/3 vinegar and 1/3 water and run it through with a filter twice. Then once with clear water.

We also do that. Didn't really like the CLR but lived to tell the tale. Vinegar is just as good.
