I kept thinking that this would change as it made no sense to me at all. Also, to date I have never been disturbed or annoyed by any pets flying in the cabin. Can't say as much for my fellow passengers and of course the little ones that would so much rather be anywhere but in a plane. Let's face it, air travel is not luxury, even in first class so we have to tolerate the petty annoyances. But as responsible pet owners we have to be sure to be considerate and keep our pets quiet while sharing the cabin with others, especially as not everyone is a pet lover. If they reverse this we have to make sure there are no complaints...'shhh fido'!!

Fingers crossed....

For driving La Quinta has a yes pets policy and when we have driven with standard poodle never had a problem there. Since I have arthritis we always asked for a ground floor in the back room. All the rooms look the same and we joked that poor Woody must have thought we just went out, drove around all day and then came back to the same place!
