don't know if this is "kosher" with chapala dot com, but i have a mexican friend here who is geared up for and
has been cutting down and removing dead trees from in front of some wealthy mexicans homes here in chapala. he is well known by the locals. a machine of his own design, leaves only a 3/4 inch dead stump
on the lake floor for about 100p. per tree. if you or your neighborhood would like his assistance for visual and/or safety reasons ,you can pm me and i will forward the message. please count to 10 before you submit a comment. peace

Excellent idea, wondered why the municipality doesn't have a guy with a snorkel and saw chopping down all the dead trees as they are a danger and make the lake not safe for jetskis and waterskiing.
