Today I got an email from AMC that Dish is dropping them. If you are a Dish customer and enjoy AMC's programming please go here to let Dish know you aren't happy. Also, please pass this along to others who have Dish.

I am sad to hear this but it does not make much difference to me as a DISH suscriber. We only get less than half the channels we pay for on most nights, particularly the premium movie channels anyway! Now that the rainy season is approaching it reminds me of when I was a little girl, watching the TV screen pattern breathlessly waiting for Howdy Doody to come on.

Tomgates, I'm personally unaffected by this since I'm NOB and not a Dish subscriber, but your tone REALLY ticked me off.

Read here, then you might consider an apology to LakeHeron.

And THIS article addresses exactly why DISH moved AMC to another channel, at the "back of the bus" so to speak.

The dispute also involves WE-tv and IFC movie channels.

Sorry Lakeheron. Guess we will have to wait to see how the dispute plays out. I use favorite lists so it isn't a big deal where the channels are located.
