Bisbee Gal Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Had a wonderful meal at La Una last night. Cornish game hen (1/2 of a rather large one) with a rosemary cream sauce for 130p. Excellente! Mi esposo had their duck breast with raspberry sauce (180p)...cooked perfectly rare. Shared a bottle of red wine for 200p (house wine by the glass is 50p). Nice place to sit and people watch, out front. There is also garden seating in the back. We have eaten breakfasts and lunches there in the past, as well as done a sampling of their extensive dinner appetizer list (don't miss the grilled octopus or their homemade pate's). It's a nice little bistro offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their summer hours/days are: Thursday through Saturday 9AM till 8PM, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday 9AM till 2PM for breakfast/lunch. Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It's on Marcos Castellanos #9 in Ajijic, a half block south of the Parroquia, next to Efren Gonzales' Gallery.
ericurmudgeon Posted June 4, 2012 Report Posted June 4, 2012 Hope they are still doing the duck when we get down in the Fall. Sounds yummy.
