If you live in Chapala, can you go to Jocotepec for an Inapam?

And question about Chapala - did they give you a day/time to return? I got my state there a few months back - only took a few minutes - but no federal (inapam)

The Chapala DIF office is only open to make the DIF and IMAPAM cards on Monday and Tuesday. You should try to get there about 8:30. You sign up at the desk as you enter the area. I got there at 8:30 March a year ago and finally got my DIF card and left the area at 12:30. I was not able to get the IMAPAM that day.

It is my understanding that the IMAPAM card is only available in January, February and part of March. You might have better luck going over to the DIF office in Jocotepec.

The best bet, like a previous post said, on the IMAPAM card is to attend the senior fair that is held in Chapala. The information posted above about the fair is correct. You definitely need all your documents with you.

They take your word for what blood type you area. You don't need written proof of blood type.
