Someone reported to the ladies at Anitas Animals this afternoon that a lady in an SUV hit the famous little Motorcycle Cop and killed him. The source is a Latino who speaks English and has proven reliable in the past. Does anyone know how to confirm or disprove this story? Intercasa?

Maybe because she was asking "HOW" to confirm it?

Halcon,
Common sense. Hmm. Why didn't I think of that? Perhaps you could be a tiny bit more explicit as to what action common sense would consist of? I live in San Juan, and no police in Jocotopec will be the slightest bit interested in the subject. If you have been at the lake for any length of time, you would know that most of us have interacted with this officer. He has been the subject of numerous threads. I checked the board and saw no mention of the reported event. So, I thought that with all the talent and contacts that exist within the membership, someone would be able to set the record straight. So far, that hasn't happened but I still have hope. You didn't help.

Thanks jayKay for the post. I thought it to be a good post where you were simply asking if what you had heard might be true. Have a good evening.

On TOB the details were posted. Someone on a MC tried to pass someone on the left who was unfortunately turning. No serious injuries and the motorcyclist was not our local mordita collecting pest.

This is the kind of rumor posting that brings out the mods.

How is it that when someone asks a question it ends up being read as a rumor by someone else. How about if I present it this way.

Can anyone confirm a report given by a third party, which may or may not be true, that the li'l famous motorcycle traffic cop who has given some gringos/as ulcers with his ticket-giving habit, has been hit and possibly injured or killed by a vehicle, driven by a person, gender unknown, recently? This is a query, not a statement of fact or rumor, of which either may not be known.

Amen. He graded me on my license test, which I studied for and paid no mordida. Before the test, he gave me a "driving test" during which he told me that for $500 pesos he would signal me the right answers to the test questions. I said no thank you. I got every answer right, but the score came up 96% correct. I asked him why and he told me, "That's the highest score anyone can get."
