This was the easiest one I found so there must be more recent info.

If you doubt me, check with Aurora. They've been trying to do this for what, 4 years?
Well, I just went to my "bank" (well almost a bank) statement, and mine hadn't changed. Still no mention of Prudential.

Seriously, they have been talking about becoming a bank for years. I used to go in maybe two years ago and ask, are you finally a bank yet? Can I have a checking account etc. Well it looks like they are finally getting there. And, yes Prudential was/is the name.

Pete--I've had a lloyd account for years which became Actinver, as we know, and the Lloyd name was phased out. I'm in and out of the place at least every other week. No mention to me of Prudential until I went online this morning.
Someone says it's a glitch. A glitch that changes the heading on my statement? I'll be getting in there tomorrow. Obviously I have some questions.

I'm glad you are going tomorrow to check. Make sure to correct me here, on the forum, if I'm wrong. I just remember, that when what was called Actinver-Lloyd, now, I guess just Actinver, wanted to offer banking services as well, that they invested in what I remember as Prudential of Mexico so that they could do same.
I also remember that the red tape has taken years and that at one time they believed they could provide that service perhaps a year or two years ago. And that no one really knows when they will be able to for example offer checking accounts.
I'm up north right now in Seattle (in the rain, darn it) or I would join you to find out what's happening.

"Glitch"? Real banks don't have glitches. If there's any institution that I expect to have perfect business practices, it's banking institutions.
Right. This organization was always confusing. We were with them for 10 years and recently closed the accounts there. Time will tell if we will be back. Probably not.
