They are adorable, Gravy. We have two calicos, one came with us to Mexico, the other and her brother came into our yard starving and stayed. You are doing the right thing and are a good man!

Went to Memos yesterday and got a worm pill ..... half in a little tuna ( hey ,I wasn't about to force it down her ....we just became friends ) .....she gets the other half in a week to 10 days .... kitties are wrestling ...... sometimes in the middle of the night ....will need a nap this afternoon ...mommy is keeping them clean and well fed .....they don't know what to make of me yet but they are very tolerant of handeling ....they love the little ball with the bell I got them .... think they are too young for a catnip mouse .....so put your orders in for these cute little guys ...don't miss out !

You are terrific, Gravy! Nothing cuter than a bunch of kittens playing. Can keep you occupied all day. Hope they get good homes. You will miss them.

Yes, June is adopt a cat month. Gravy's kittens will be ideal to adopt this month.

A house is not a home without at least one cat, preferably two or more.

Keep up the great work. I'm no cat expert, but someone told me that too much tuna is bad for a cat. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong

Yes, but a little bit of tuna wrapped around a worm pill is VERY good for the cat. Cats usually are pretty suspicious about medicine - but they don't ask questions about tuna! Hiding Kitty's pills in that delicious smelly tuna is a little underhanded perhaps, but much, much better for human-cat relations. Let's not call it deception - let's call it diplomacy.

I've found they do better in at least pairs... keep each other company, and provides a social unit. We adopted a trio of litter mates when they were kittens, and they've been great with each other for over 14 years. Hoping these kids might get to stay together, although just having good homes would be excellent.

WHAT CAT_ERWALLING ....mommy in and out the door .....(typical cat behavior )..... more meowing than the law allowes ..... but they had a good time exploring .....the white one descovered mom's food bowl and started to pig out ....wonder if it's too soon ..... fat little buggers

new problem ....FLEAS ! ...mommy brought home fleas and now the kittens have them ....... little ones ,not like Florida fleas
So I can get mommy a flea collar but what about the little guys .....some one suggested a powder thats OK for kittens
and now that they are all over the place , will boric acid that I put down for roaches hurt them ?

They have turned into rambunctious little monsters , climbing all over me and everything else .....i'm their "tree" ....they love their toys ...... need answers from the cat lovers out there.....

Time to see the vet again but it's not necessary to take the cats. Vet can give you something to put on mommy like Advantage. It is a liquid that is applied to the back of the neck so it can't be licked off. You will have to ask about the kittens because I am not sure if it is safe for them.

Get advice quickly from a vet or someone about the flea problem. I once had a batch of kittens in Florida with fleas and all died except one. Don't wait too long.

Please go to the vet immediately and get something for this problem for mama and find out what to do about the kittens. Advantage or Frontline kills fleas on adult cats; the dose depends on the weight of the cat. Frontline also kills ticks. I don't know what they use for kittens since it's been years since I've had a small kitten.

well ..........what a drama .....flea med was special because of the kittens and only applied to mom like advantge ...... Memo said that would take care of the kittens due to her being close to them .....the drama came from trying to get a siringe full of meds for diarrhea down mom
the end result .....my favorite shirt in tatters and a pint of blood lost to multiple scratches but I got most of it down her ......

You are a darned fine human, Gravy. It's hard to imagine now, I imagine, but you will look back on these weeks fondly.
