Took a couple of orphan teenagers for a tour. Hank, our guide and owner, was terrific. He was so accomodating to our special needs. If you haven t taken a tour with him I want to give him a big thumbs up. They are located at the hotel Perico if you are interested. We think he offers a great entertainment locally.Highly recomended by us.

It is a little hard to describe but Hank and Bette have cut trails in the area adjacent to the hotel Perico. I believe that they have several different trails to suit varying degrees of skill with the ATVs and so far we have been on the beginner trails though apparently we are ready for the "canyon trail". The views are often spectacular especially the views of the lake.

Some of the trails are old, dirt farm roads, others are cow and horse trails that Hank & Betty have cleared out.
They ride out in the hills behind hotel Perico on the libriemento.
They have 4 - 5 different trails, pretty nice ride, great views and a lot of fun.

Thanks to all for the great information. This really sounds like fun and excitement, not to mention the gorgeous vistas! Hey, does anyone know if 2 carless people can take a bus up to Hotal Perico? Would the bus to Guad stop there and let us off? thanx!

If you can't take the bus or get a ride, there are plenty of cabs that would take you out there and come back and pick you up.

I just talked with Hank and Betty and they said they'd be happy to pick people up from Walmart and take them back there after the tour.
They said they are looking forward to seeing you!

It sound like a really fun day. I heard they have cameras on some of the helmets. Is this true?

Well, kinda true. They have cameras which attach to the lead ATV and they capture the tour.
As to the helmets, well, they supplied bandanas both times when we were there, but they didn't have helmets.
