We've been hearing a security alarm go off periodically in a house on La Canacinta since 6 a.m. No, I do not think there is a real problem, other than an alarm that has gone haywire. But what do I know? If any of you are neighbors, would you please tell me what is going on, before I start door-to-door house calls?

An alarm is going off and you don't think it's a problem? Call the cops.

It's nerve wracking. I don't know why someone has called the police. I can it hear but do not know the location.

This alarm goes off frequently. I don't think anyone lives in the house on a continuing basis. We have walked down the street and along the lake side several times while this alarm is going off. When it starts it doesn't stop for a long time. There has never been any activity around the house that we could see. We have assumed an animal or birds set it off ... there really is no reason for the home owner to have it because it is not monitored. If we called the police every time it goes off they would be out at least once a week. I notice it has stopped finally.
