Hotel Presidente Intercontinental
Crowne Plaza GDL
Villa Ganz
Del Carmen Concept
Hotel Edicon Uno
Hostal de Maria GDL
With the except of the last one, these are all rather expensive. There may be limitations on the size of the dog. If it were me with a large dog at such short notice, I might just pop into the cleanest looking paso de hotele near the airport.
Hope it helps, and let me know how it goes. Safe Travels.

Not sure I have the name right, but there is a no tell motel just before the airport when you are heading north. It is bright blue/purple and I think the name is Venice...at least I know it starts with a "V"Isn't there a NoTell on the road from Chapala to Guad?? Often you can have a dog in those and they are clean and inexpensive... cannot think of the name of the one I remember seeing???

The bar was another treat. The bar tender didn't know what white wine was (I asked for vino blanco) and began by searching among the tequilas. We each had a glass of water while waiting for a manager who might know. We finally gave up and had a beer each. Oh, the free drinks coupons we received when we checked in? They covered the water, not the beer. I complained upon checking out and the clerk said I should have known that the coupons I had were not the right ones. HUH? That's what I was given. How the hell would I know? $150US per night.

First of all Eddy's was the dumping ground of choice for 15 (sometimes referred to as 18) dismembered bodies last week. The hotel Casa Grande is the closest to the airport, but it probably the worst place to go if you want to sleep, eat, or drink. The beds are made with a mixture of foam and concrete. A little too much concrete. They serve a wide variety of left overs for dinner. I topped off some cold reheated enchiladas with a new form of flan that I needed a steak knife to to cut. I asked the waiter what year the flan was produced and he didn't crack a smile, replying that he didn't know.

I had the opposite experience at Casa Grande this past January. No noise issues, decent bed, didn't eat dinner there but the breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices, great friendly service - including a free ride to Tlaquepaque the next day. The room was US$86 for the night.
