I need a one month car insurance policy to drive in Texas. I know I did this a couple of years back but thanks to CRS, no longer know the company name. Anyone smarter than me who can give a suggestion?

It is liability only but I don't think any short term policies have full coverage.

I have SD plates and I bought a 2 week policy from them when I drove NOB. It offers different policies for foreign plated and U.S. plated.

There is a huge list of auto insurance companies out there you can check it out if they have one month car insurance policy or short term policy that will best suites your needs. Just do some research, it will help a lot.

Thanks, my complication is that I have a Mexican driver's license. I finally found a company in Laredo, Border Insurance, which will require my physical presence for 10 minutes or so, and they will let me bring the Wonderpug into their offices. Previously, when my TDL was valid, I could get insurance online. ( will renew the US driver's license when in Houston). Oh beauracracy!
They couldn't have been nicer, especially the young woman named Cordy. She will be having surgery that day so I will meet with Edna. Price is $77US for one month of basic insurance. I'll be using them again if, Gods willing, I ever have to drive back to the UnitedStates of Arrogance again.....

Have a safe trip Camille. We are currently in the U.S. with the monkeys! We got added to our daughter's auto policy for the 2 months we are here. It was a great deal for both of us as we now both get the multi car discount. Will cancel when we return to Lakeside. Will see you and Sweetpea come July.
