I am hoping that the voice of gringos can be heard advocating the use of all available resources to bring the perpetrators to justice. I would protest this crime just as much for Pancho and his family as I would for any of us gringos. Tell me, how do we be an effective voice?

I think there is no doubt Pancho was murdered. Now the question that remains to be answered (and publicized?) is by whom and why.

No disrespect meant by me. I have eaten at the restaurant a few times and have met Pancho, talked with him and he was very nice. But just because I went to his restaurant a few times, it doesn't mean I KNEW them. Until I know what happened, I am sorry but will stay away from the area. For those of you who knew Pancho and his family, I am very sorry for your loss.

There is a huge funeral procession on the Avenida in Chapala. I didn't know Pancho, but if this is his funeral I can tell you all that he was well loved, and by many people.
