I'm wondering if anyone has had dealing with Riberas Rental Centre on Independencia in San Antonio. Would appreciate feedback if you have dealt with them. Thanks.

They are okay - I am satisfied - coming up to the end of a 2 year lease.. Plus I have a really good owner - so everything is fixed really quick. I think they try to please.

I have rented from them almost 2 years now. They are nice to deal with; the repairmen are generally good and do good work. The only real problem I have is that the owner of this house lives in Houston and wants to authorize everything first, so sometimes it takes a while to get approval to repair something. They speak good English, which is a plus.

Bertha has managed our property for 2 years now. We support everything positive others have mentioned. The fact that she follows the owners instructions is a plus in my mind. She also recommend our new staff, this has worked out very well so far. We leave her with a list of contractors we have used for improvements. These contractors have implied warranties in their workmanship, so are to be consulted first if any issues arise. So far nothing a small contingency fund can't handle!

I can guess. Everything seems fine until you get to wanting your deposit back? Ways of getting cash from contracts that don't benefit the lessor or lessee?

Friends of mine have had very bad experiences with Berta, never got their deposits back. Did intervene on their behalf a few times, never got sastisfactory service, I would rate it as the worst rental centre on Lakeshore.
