is Joco bypass open if so, how are roads
hauling kayaks

will it take to highway turn off to colima

Lots of construction on 54D. Sounds like they are making it 4 lanes most of the way and adding two more toll booths

PM me if you want my notes from a 3/29 trip, from east of Chapala to a turnoff shortly before Colima, starting at "mile 109.1" in my notes. Note that driving time, gas and tolls for the trip down are based on our towing a horse trailer. We had no problem navigating the Joco bypass while towing the trailer, with a horse inside it. Hey, at least kayaks don't stomp and complain if it's rough going.....

I tried posting my notes here but they're in Excel, and I coudn't get them to paste in nicely.
