I have read that in the "old days" somewhere between Neill James and the AARP article praising Ajijic as a retirement destination, there were quite a number of porno films produced in this area--in the swinging 60's, I think. Now there is a film production studio somewhere between San Nicholas and the Libramiento. I have heard no report on how that is doing. Just thinking you might put your movie making skills to use there teaching young Mexicans.

Thanks for sharing this Intercasa. Question: was the commercial filmed on the street or was the inside of the Pullman house being used as well?
Reason I ask is that the Pullman house belongs to my friend Rosalinda and she is out of town right now.

Filmed outside on the small street but they also had access to the home. It apparently has child stars and they were doing commercials for a variety of products.

San Nicholas is way out east of Chapala on the lake. The libramiento runs from Ajijic to the Chapala Highway.
I believe the studio you are referring to is on the right side of the libramiento after you come up the hill past the school. It is far off in the distance on the right and I believe it is bright blue.

I thought this "studio" you are referring to is some kind of government run teaching facility aimed at teaching this stuff. Please, someone check it out and report back. I thought it was into animation, etc., hopefully not 3D image tracing mindless grunt work, as in India. Am currently "standing by and waiting" on "Seventh Son" - Jeff Bridges - huge $ budget. Hopefully this movie grunts last flic. Lakeside here we come.
