The family (I think) has 2 internet services and the ADSL version seems to be down, but the cable one is working (I've got it plugged in directly to a laptop).
I was hoping someone could give me some feedback as to whether your internet in Mirasol is working this morning or not. Ours went out last night, probably around 9:30-10:30pm. I've done all the basics of resetting the devices, unplugging them, making sure connections are solid, etc.
I'm going to try hooking this working one up to the wireless router, but would appreciate any insight as to whether it might just be "us" or the service itself. And I can't get in touch with the owners (they're in Guatemala) and have no idea how to even call to notify someone of the outage.
Thanks

I resetted the Modem several times and it eventually came back on its own................
Too many bobos on the line
I have been in Mirasol for nearly 6 months and it seems to be a problem with the lines. But it usually only go on and off for a few minutes.

I appreciate your response Sheldon and RevImmigrant. I wonder if more people would have responded, but their internet was too slow!

Remember doberwoman, it depends upon where you live. I have had all three services lakeside. (Oh, I always have two ISPs) By far the most stable where I live in upper Ajijic is infinitum. (but it is certainly not the fastest).yes, infinitum, comes and goes....low speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed...................

Very slow now, taking at least a minute a word! Don't know if reporting is worth it.
