Did a search for Greek yougurt on this forum, but no luck. Is it available Lakeside? Anyone every make their own? What's the difference between regular yougurt and Greek yogurt?

Greek, Turkish, Syrian, Lebanese, etc. ......... It is just yoghurt; and creative marketing.

It was being sold at the Monday market but since I haven't been there for about 6 weeks I don't know if it still is. I will pm yo a telephone number of the young man making it if you can't find him at the Monday market.

Deena also sells Greek yogurt at the Tuesday market - just ask for her. Have also found it at the seed/grain store next to Gossips..

Greek yogurt is SOOO hard to make. It is thicker and creamer than regular yogurt. Get a good quality plain yogurt like Alpura. Get two coffee filters and a medium sized strainer. Put filters in strainer, add yogurt, cover and leave in refrigerator over night. Voila! Greek yogurt.

My yogurt costs 40 pesos per 1/2 liter. My yogurt is made from scratch with pasturized light milk and active cultures. No sugar or preservatives added.

Superlake has Greek yogurt in the dairy section on the far right, closest to the deli counter. They have it in both liter and half-liter containers. Half liter is 35pesos.

I make my own. I use the same method that MtnMama uses. It is almost ridiculously easy.Did a search for Greek yougurt on this forum, but no luck. Is it available Lakeside? Anyone every make their own? What's the difference between regular yougurt and Greek yogurt?
