I am looking for a chihuahua puppy (7-8 weeks). If you know someone who has a litter please let me know.

It is NOT necessary to remind me of the wonderfull dogs in the various shelters that need adopting.

I also know about the animal for sale link in Guadalajara.

If you have information pertaining to my original statement I would appreciate hearing from you.

No reputable breeder will sell a toy breed puppy earlier than 10 weeks and 12 is much better. Only a really sleazy backyard breeder would place so young a puppy.

There is a Vet I am sorry I forget his name , his office is on the street that runs up to the mountain next to Ajijic Clinic. He used to breed and show
Chihuahuas. He no longer does that but he does know the breeders in the area. He got my puppy for me from Guad. Most of these little dogs come from homes where they only breed their dogs speratically. They are usually sold here in Mexico at 5 -6 weeks of age so they are very fragile and take a lot of care in the first few months.
The other thing you can try is to contact a number of the Vets to see if they have a client with a new litter. Good luck these mini dogs can be a lot of fun and they make great companions

The Chihuahua is in the "Toy Group" in AKC classification. It is illegal in many states to sell any puppy under 8 weeks of age. The puppy has not yet fully developed an immune system of its own and needs to stay with the mother and siblings.

Too bad you missed out on the one that was just dumped in someone's flower pot. Just was told about it the other day, also, the pet food store in Chapala, the "cow" guy, usually has them in the store.

Shelter in Riberas has a mother and daughter supposedly Chi and yorkie cross.

I was told yesterday Anita has some which just came in the other day. I believe three, worth a drive up there.
