I think La Fondas is closed. Hasn't been open for awhile.

La Fonda Doña Lola in Ajijic is open on their normal schedule, if that is the one you mean. "Fonda" means an economical restaurant, but not a specific one.

I think he means La Fonda Sinaloense (sp?) located next to the La Huerta Eventos center. It was written-up in the Lake Chapala Review last month. Sounded good, so we decided to check it out. It was closed with a For Rent sign on the fence.

Yes it is gone, seems no restaurant at that location makes it...
