I am posting this for a friend.

"Buy this Dining Room set and help needy Mexican pets!

"Lakeside Friends of the Animals" has been given this dining room table and 4 chairs to sell (see photo below) in order to supplement their funds for spay/neuter and emergency care of needy Mexican pets. 100% of proceeds go to Lakeside, and they can give a U.S. tax-deductible receipt.

Round pedestal table is 47" across and standard height. Very solid. Chairs have leather seat and back inserts.

Please call Aileen (Lakeside's treasurer) 766-2618 or Barb 766-2759 to view by appointment only up to/including March 12. After that they must go to consignment, so less animals will be helped (after commission)".

Shown below is the photo of the dining room set.

I've seen this set and it's good solid furniture. It's a good deal, particularly since it helps the animals.

As this is for such a worthy cause, any reasonable offer will not be turned down. More funds will be available to help animals in need if the set doesn't have to go to a consignment shop. Please folks, go to see the set and make an offer.

They are asking $2,500 pesos obo. Great price for a solid, nice-size table with sturdy chairs.

If the present finish doesn't fit in with your decor, you can always refinish it to suit you. Sometimes it's hard to find good, sturdy furniture.

I just talked to Aileen and she said there have not been any calls, but there is someone her gardener knows who is possibly interested. He wiil also put up a picture and flyer at Wal-Mart in case this prospect doesn't pan out.

Come on, folks, we can't all have a whole house full of furniture. Someone must surely need a good dining room table and chair set and it's a win-win situation - you get some furniture and the animals get some help!

If I didn't already have a table, I'd get that one & take it to the guy in Riberas on the mountainside who does all the great painting on furniture (can't remember his name) & that set could fit in anyone's home.

Good idea! At this price, If the present finish / color aren't your favs, you can always change them! Lots of competent help around if you can't do it yourself.

This set would work great on a covered patio. I wish I had seen it earlier.

Last chance. Any reasonable offer will be accepted. Remember the funds all go toward a good cause.
