lakeheron Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 I hope this is a real solution for everybody. Personally I have missed Mexicana.
Mainecoons Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 Seven airplanes is hardly an airline of significant size. Frankly, I don't see it being worth the bother. What I'd like to see is Volaris expanding their route, particularly to DFW. Every time I fly with them I'm amazed at how they are superior to almost every other airline I fly on. Paricularly American and Southwest.
artsnob Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 I have switched to Interjet, and am very happy, I wonder if Mexicana will honor the tickets I got stuck with, filed with complaint dept and never heard back..

happymanmx Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 The airline was in bankruptcy therefore most unlikely they would not homor previous tickets as the emerge as a new company. PR wise they might offer discount toward furture flighs. Bankruptcy discharges all previous debts and depending how they liisted outstanding obligations.
artsnob Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 Just a victim of corporate mismanagement, but I will never fly Mexicana again, and I am a very frequont flyer between Mex City and GDL every three weeks, so will stick with Interjet..
